Diane Picklesimer Staton

Diane Picklesimer Staton, 62, of Franklin, died Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on March 20, 1954 to parents Clay and Edna (Hembree) Creech.

Diane was a 1972 graduate of Carlisle High School. She worked as a machine operator for Dopaco, retiring in 2000.

Diane was a devoted mother and loving housewife who will be greatly missed by her husband, David Staton; daughter, Dianah (Chuck Thomas) Black; son, Henry (Marie) Picklesimer; stepsons Rocky (Chelsea) Staton & David Staton; mother, Edna Creech; brother, Donnie Creech; sisters, Debby Spencer & Delores Baker; grandchildren, Brittany Moore, Haley Black, Brenna Adams, Mallory Picklesimer, Hannah, Hayden & Hope Plogman; stepgrandchildren, Mckenzie Staton & Owen Staton; and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clay Creech and grandson, Jacob Picklesimer.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Claude Robold officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodhill Cemetery.
