Dora Tenore

Dora Tenore, 86, of Middletown, died peacefully Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Middletown on April 17, 1930 to parents Joseph and Lucy (Severini) DiCristoforo.

Dora & her husband, Tony, started their real estate business together in 1955 known as Tony Tenore Inc. Dora worked together with her husband in the business until his passing in 2009. She continued running the business until her retirement at age 83. Dora enjoyed entertaining and having office parties for her staff, family & friends featuring her Italian cuisine & desserts. She was a member of the Middletown Board of Realtors & various other organizations. She enjoyed golfing at Brown's Run with her husband & friends. She will be missed by her family & friends and we know that she is at peace with her beloved husband, Tony.

Mrs. Tenore is survived by her daughter, Tina M. Soutar; granddaughter, Nicole Soutar; and brother, Adam (Rose) Cristo.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. There will be no visitation. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
