Garnett Louise Burichin

Garnett Louise Burichin, 85, of Franklin, died Saturday, August 30, 2014, at home. She was born in Salix, Pennsylvania on August 21, 1929 to parents Herman and Agnes (Krise) Hoffman.

Mrs. Burichin was a member of Holy Family Parish, a talented seamstress and a mother to many.

Mrs. Burichin is survived by her daughters, Judith (Jerrold Twohig) Burichin MD, Susan (Stephen Bee) Burichin Bee, Christine Burichin, Mary Beth Burichin, Kelly Burichin; brothers, Elwood Hoffman, Donald (Marjorie) Hoffman; sister Mary Marth (Leonard) Seese, and grandchildren, Emily Bee, Patrick Twohig, Mary Elizabeth Twohig, Samuel Bee, Juliana Ellis, Michael Ellis, James Burichin and his mother Saunyia Carter.

Garnett was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Burichin Sr., son Joseph Burichin Jr.; sisters, Ora Jean Wiggins, Audrey Mae Sherrard, Marjorie La Verne Balogh, Barbara Lee Lane and Patricia Ann Miller.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
