Joadie Carberry, 58, of Middletown, died Saturday, July 12, 2014, at her residence. She was born in New York, New York on April 25, 1956 to parents William and Mary June (Murddock) Voorhees.
Joadie was devoted to her family and had a passion for music.
Mrs. Carberry is survived by her husband, David Carberry; daughters, Kelly (Zachary) Roberts, Candice (Gregg Miller) Carberry & Kaitlin (Dan) Bunn; stepson, Shayne (Michelle) Carberry; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Malcolm and nurse Connie at his office as well as the team at Hospice Care of Middletown for all of their care.
A gathering to celebrate Joadie's life will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 11:00 - 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown.
