Lorelle Hedrick

Lorelle Hedrick, 87, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016, at her home. She was born in Algood, Tennessee on September 13, 1928 to parents Ernest and Sarah (Qualls) Burton.

Lorelle had worked in the circulation department of the Dayton Daily News and then for the Middletown Journal. She also taught Adult Education for Warren County and had done modeling for Sharkey's Modeling Agency. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Middletown. One of Lorelle's greatest enjoyments was ballroom dancing, which she taught with the Middletown High School Adult Education Program, the Middletown Senior Center, as well as giving private lessons in the Middletown area for over 30 years.

Mrs. Hedrick is survived by her daughters, Joan (Perry) Reynolds, Shari (Tom Rottinghaus) Hedrick & Robbie (Ray) Thomas; sister, Ann (Jim) Cooper; six grandchildren, Perry (Carly) Reynolds III, Robert Reynolds, Devon Rottinghaus, Mai Rottinghaus, Joseph (Trena) Thomas & Laura (Patrick) Sheehan; four great grandchildren, Hannah, Elijah, Jaxon & Maddie; and her best friend & companion, Jim Wagner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. "Bob" Hedrick in 2006; parents; sisters, Rozelle Smith & Betty Vantilburg; and brother, Charles Burton.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Ken Fey officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at David's Cemetery.
