Sara Elizabeth Combs

Sara Elizabeth Combs, 97, of Middletown, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at home. She was born in Winchester, Kentucky on March 27, 1917 to parents William F. and Margaret (Dennis) Barnett.

Sara, along with her husband Kenneth, was owner/operator of Kenny's Carry Out in Blue Ball for several years. She was dearly loved by her family and with her passing our family will never be quite the same.

Mrs. Combs is survived by her daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Combs; grandson, Patrick (fiancé Christina Salmon) Palmer; great grandchildren, Brittany (fiancé, Derrick Fletcher) Palmer, Corrine (fiancé, Aaron Taylor) Palmer & Kyle Palmer; great great grandchildren, Joshua Fletcher & Colton Taylor; and son-in-law, Richard Nunlist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Myron Kenneth Combs in 1991; and daughter, Mary Jane Palmer Nunlist in 2007.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Michelle Terry officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
