Phyllis J. Murphy 84, of Middletown died on Friday Aug. 3, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Middletown on Jan.31, 1928 to parents Arthur & Minnie Wasson.
She is survived by three sons; Bobby Murphy, Tim ( Susan) Murphy, Kevin ( Sherry ) Murphy, three daughters Debbie ( Bill ) Ackerman, Pam Murphy, and Jane Murphy, 10 grandchildren; Robert Flischer, Erin, Maggie, Joe, Sean, Alli, Katie & Tyler Murphy, Brad & Brian Dennis and six great grandchildren.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Murphy in 2009
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Rev. Jackie Woodward officiating. Interment at Woodhill Cemetery.
