Abbie L. Wilmer

Abbie L. Wilmer, 105, of Middletown, Ohio, died on Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Towne Point Senior Living. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 4, 1897 to parents Charles and Minnie Rogers.

Mrs. Wilmer attended Ohio State University and was a member of the Delta Delta Gamma Sorority. She was a member of the Nurses Auxiliary here in Middletown, during World War II.

Abbie is survived by one daughter, Marjorie (Richard) Royse of Commerce, MI; one son, William S.Wilmer of Middletown, OH; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. “Seb” Wilmer in 1990; her parents; a brother, Perce Rogers; and a sister, Edna Hamilton.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in Woodside Mausoluem.
