Acy C. McKenzie, 85, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2005, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born in Farmers, KY on January 25, 1920 to parents Harry and Carrie (Craeger) McKenzie.
Mr. McKenzie, served in the United States Army, and served overseas during WWII. While overseas he earned: the Lapel Button, American Theatre Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, and also received 4 Bronze Service Stars. Mr. McKenzie was also a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife Elma (Kielman) McKenzie of Middletown; one son, Harry C. (Joni) McKenzie of Trenton; a daughter, Carla Y. McKenzie of Middletown; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Loren McKenzie.
Acy was preceded in death by his parents, and seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Pastor Gene Leiter officiating. Visitation will be prior to the funeral from 11- 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 212 S. Broad Street, Middletown, OH 45044.
