Agnes A. Wendt, age 88 of Middletown died on Friday morning at McKnight Terrace. Mrs. Wendt had worked for Aeronca during WWII packing parachutes and later as a supervisor. She also worked as a medical assistant in the offices of Drs. Walter & Cliff Fening and Dr. Sawyer. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She was born in Cincinnati, on June 26, 1914 to Sam & Mabel Morningstar.
Agnes is survived by a son Stephen M. Bauer, of Cincinnati, a daughter Carol Pierson, of Salisbury, N.C., a step-son Richard (Polly) Wendt, of Mukilteo, WA, a sister-in-law Bernice M. Wendt, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester Wendt, Oct. 9, 1986, and a step-daughter Patricia Matson.
Funeral services Tuesday at 1:00pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., at Bonita Dr. Visitation Tuesday from 12 Noon until time of service. Rev. Richard Wendt officiating. Entombment at Woodside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 212 S. Broad St., Middletown, Ohio 45044
