Alfonso Smith

Alfonso Smith, 89, of Trenton, died on Friday, April 24, 2020 at West Chester Hospital. He was born in Manchester, Kentucky on February 8, 1931 to parents Will and Sally (Hubbard) Smith.

Alfonso worked as a crane operator for Armco Steel Corp, retiring in 1992 after 40 years with the company.

Alfonso is survived by his beloved wife, Arcie (Collins) Smith; daughters, Lisa (Dan) Risner & Velda (Wendell) Pierson; grandchildren, Nicole Holderman, Carrie (Jeff) Martin, Jack (Mandy) Mannon & Aaron Risner; and great grandchildren, Issac, Alyassa, Cullen, Ivey, Noah, Landen, Kylie, Jaxson, Waylon, Jack, Evan & Grayson.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Edith Marie Richardson; parents; brothers, Andrew Smith, Forester Smith, Floyd Smith & Anderson Smith; sister, Cora Smallwood; and granddaughters, Shelly King, Melissa Frame & Amy Risner.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
