Alfred Baumann

Alfred Baumann, 97, of Hamilton, OH, died Saturday, August 18, 2007, at The Gables Assisted Living, Middletown, OH. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 30, 1910 to parents Henry and Anna (Stevens) Baumann.

Mr. Baumann was active with the family farm until 2000 where he loved to raise livestock, especially chickens and was a member of the Farm Bureau..

Mr. Baumann is survived by his son Doug Baumann (Sarah) of Hamilton, two brothers, Herbert Baumann (Doris) of West Chester and Ervin Baumann (Marcia) of Washington Court House, a granddaughter, Beverly Baumann, a niece, Betty Jane Bake and four nephews, Gus and Larry Bake and Lester and Robert Neiderman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Baumann, a sister, Helen Neiderman and a brother, Louis Baumann.

Funeral Services will be Monday, August 20, 2007 at 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday evening, August 20, 2007 at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Drive), Middletown from 5:00-7:00 PM. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
