Alice L. Foxx

Alice L. Foxx, 80, of Monroe, died Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on August 25, 1929 to parents Thomas and Pearl (Thompson) Mobley.

Mrs. Foxx loved her flower garden and reading. She was a member of University Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. Alice loved the Lord and her family.

Mrs. Foxx is survived by her sons, Kenneth E. (Diane) Foxx, Paul D. (Sharon) Foxx and Michael G. Foxx; daughter, Sharon (Dennis) Hangbers; grandchildren, Tina (Ed) Whitfield, Doug Hangbers, Rob Foxx, Kelle (Tracy) Foxx, Nicole (Diego) Argos, Sheri Hangbers, Alyson (Clay) Crews, Adam Foxx, Alec Foxx, Sutton Foxx and Sydney Foxx; and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur E. Foxx; her parents; brothers, Manuel Mobley, Frank Mobley and Bob Mobley; sisters, Helen Warmouth, Sarah Wells and Gertrude Turner; and grandson, Daniel Hangbers.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 28, 2009 at 1:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Dale Norris of University Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
