Alice "Mickey" Marts

Alice “Mickey” Joyce Marts, of Madison Twp., died Friday April 28, 2023, at The Enclave of Springboro with the care of Day City Hospice. She was born June 30, 1924, in Richmond, Indiana to parents Robert and Willietee (Creech) Roberts.

Mickey was a clerk at the Middletown Post Office for 20 years. She was the valedictorian of her class at Camden High School, she did volunteer work with Madison Local Schools and she was the past president of NALC Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter Joy Marts, son Kenny Marts, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, along with many other loving family, friends, nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed Marts, daughter Karen Doyle, brother Kenneth Roberts and a sister Jeanne Lykins.

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday May 8, 2023, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.). Private burial will be at Elk Creek Cemetery.
