Alleen T. Evans

Alleen T. Evans, 93, of Middletown, OH, 45044, died Friday, January 16, 2009, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on August 12, 1915 to parents Clint and Nannie (Tout) Cox. She was co-owner of Duff's Café and retired from there in 1985 after 35 years.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her daughter, Faye C. (Kenneth) Norris, four grandchildren, Douglas Norris, Terri (Larry) Caudill, Jackie (Terry) Yenke and Ken (Lena) Norris II, eight great grandchildren, Kristopher Norris, Amanda Caudill, T.J. and Michael Yenke, Kyle and Matt Walker and Stephen and Brandon Norris and one great great grandchild..

Alleen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John R. "Jack" Evans, a brother Millard Cox and four sisters, Uva Duff, Ruby Burnett, Mary Moreland and Pauline Tewart.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend James Kinser officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to HOPE House, Inc., 34 South Main Street, Middletown, OH 45044
