Aloysius T. "Al" Kremer, 92, of Largo, FL, formerly of Middletown, OH died Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Largo Medical Center. He was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on February 4, 1923 to parents Aloysius T. Sr. and Rosa C. (Nauret) Kremer.
Al was a member of Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church. He served 3 years in the 5th Air Force during World War II in the Pacific from Australia to Tokyo, Japan. He was a member of the American Legion Post 218. Al retired from Armco / AK Steel Corp in 1983 after 36 years of service in the Payroll-Accounting Department.
Mr. Kremer is survived by his son, Terry (Robyn) Kremer; grandson, Matthew (Jennifer) Kremer; granddaughter, Lisa (Chris) Combs; step-grandchildren, Heather (Richie) Owens, Jeremiah (Tamara) Kilmer, Justin (Janine) Kilmer; great grandchildren, Isabella, Jack & Josh; and step-great grandchildren, Grace, Bailey, Ethan & Nolan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary A. Kremer; parents; brothers, Raymond, Vernon, LeRoy, Ted & Robert; and sister, Alma Holzer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:00 at Holy Family Parish – St. John's Church, 1405 First Ave., Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 pm with a rosary service held at 4:30 at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
