Aloysius J. “Bud” Berberich, Jr., 83, of Middletown, died Thursday, July 13, 2006. He was born in Dayton, on April 8, 1923, to Aloysius J. and Margaret (Heindle) Berberich Sr..
Bud worked as a sales engineer for Allied Supply Company, retiring in 1985 after 37 years. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. during World War II. Bud was a member of Holy Family Parish, the K of C #1610, served as Past Grand Knight in Hamilton, was Past President of Fenwick Boosters Club and ran several booths at Fenwick Festival. He loved golf, hunting, and fishing.
Bud is survived by his wife, Lucille M. (Herman) Berberich of Middletown; four daughters, Linda (Tony) Esposito of Middletown, Carol (Bill) Martin of Trenton, Joyce (Louis) Cioffi of Mt. Vernon, NY, and Marjorie (Paul) Haker of Trenton; a son, Robert (Cindy) Berberich of Middletown; seven brothers & sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 17, 2006 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 218 Honor Guard.
