Amelia Oluich Diefenbach, 93, of Middletown, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Middletown on July 6, 1918 to parents George and Mari (Denk) Oluich.
Amelia worked for Ohio Bell, retiring as senior utility clerk in 1980. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and Telephone Pioneers of America.
Mrs. Diefenbach is survived by her son, Carman (Diana) Sizemore; sister, Mary Helen (Andrew) Chupka and 2 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Diefenbach in 1971; parents; and brother, Michael Oluich in 1997.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
