Amy Jo Sebastian

Amy Jo Sebastian, 51, of Monroe, was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 16, 2018, at home. She was born in Schenectady, New York on May 15, 1967 to parents James and Judy (Bianco) Evans.

Amy is survived by her sons, Kinser Sebastian, Noah Sebastian & Sam Sebastian; daughter, Kylie Sebastian; mother, Judy Evans; brothers, David (Tracy) Evans, Brian (Jennifer) Evans & James (Marisa) Evans; and sister, Nancy (John) Blaylock. She was preceded in death by her father.

Amy graduated from Anderson University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She taught at Madison Elementary, was a stay-at-home mom for several years, and most recently worked at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant as Administrative Coordinator. Amy was active in her church and community and loved studying the scriptures. She was gifted as a vocalist and enjoyed singing in churches and weddings over the years. Amy was a dedicated mother and participated in the many activities and sporting events of her children.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Breiel Church of God, 2000 N. Breiel Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Claude Robold, Pastor Wes Duff, Pastor Kevin McGuire & Pastor Jake Garmany officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the church.
