Angeline Andreotta

Angeline "Angie" Andreotta, 100, of Middletown, died on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Spring Hills Middletown. She was born on January 30, 1919 in Middletown, one of eight children to parents Vincenzo and Francesca (Giglio) Ierace.

Angie attended North School and Middletown High School. At age 17 she entered beauty school and after earning her Cosmetology license she owned Angela's Beauty Shoppe in Middletown and was a beautician for over 40 years. She was most proud that she was asked to do Roberta Peters' (a prominent American opera singer) hair when she was performing at an event in Middletown.

More than anything Angie loved her family and she will be greatly missed by her son, Joseph M. (Nathalie) Andreotta; daughters, Rosemary (George) Crow & Victoria (Dave Lakes) Summers; eight grandchildren, Joseph (Anita) Andreotta, Anita (Dave) Swinney, Anthony (Sarah) Andreotta, Marcos (Julie) Andreotta, Francesca (Dave) Ewen, Felicia (Jonathon Lacki) Andreotta, Richard (Tracy) Crow & William (Kari) Crow; twenty-one great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Andreotta; parents; five brothers and two sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 24, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark St., Middletown with Father Stephen Lattner, OSB as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 at the church. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
