Ann Blose, 77, formerly of Monroe, OH, died Thursday, March 13, 2014, at her daughter's home in Alpharetta, GA. She was born in Frenchburg, Kentucky on April 13, 1936 to parents Rev. Frank E. and Genevera (Jamieson) Wiley.
Ann earned her BA at Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas and her Master's degree in Education at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and went on to teach at Middletown and Monroe City Schools. She was a member of the Monroe Presbyterian Church, the Middletown Music Club, Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers Sorority and the Monroe Current Events Club.
Mrs. Blose is survived by her daughters, Wendra (Chris) Tuell & Jill (Christian) Coffman; sisters, Marge (Hugh) Hays, Liz (Steve) Nightingale & Pat (Marcelino) Rivera; and grandchildren, Lydia and Caleb Coffman & Anna Tuell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Philip Blose in 2006 and her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 am at Monroe Presbyterian Church, 57 W. Elm Street, Monroe with Reverend Patrick Warren & Reverend Geoffrey Huish officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the church. Private inurnment will be held at Mound Cemetery.
