Ann Mae Hummer, 78, of Trenton, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Paris, Kentucky on June 23, 1931 to parents Jesse H. and Goldie Mabel (Wilson) Sanders.
Mrs. Hummer owned and operated the Hummer Haus Restaurant for 20 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Holy Name Church, the Miami Valley Woodcarvers Association and the Argosy Preferred Players Club.
She is survived by her sons, Dan (Sue) Hummer and Rick Hummer; daughters, Teri (Mark) Terrett and Mary (Gerald) Shively; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hummer in 2001; son, Bob Hummer in 2005; her parents; sister, Louise Bleicher; and granddaughter, Stephanie Hummer in 1994.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 31, 2009 at 10:00 am at Holy Name Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton with Father George Klein as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
