Mrs. Anna M. Chupka, 99, of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2006, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on October 4, 1906 to John and Anna (Kollar) Waczula. Mrs. Chupka was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and she worked for 25 years in the sacristy at St. John’s Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Andrew T. Chupka (April 20, 1956), and her brother, Father Michael Waczula in 2005.
Mrs. Chupka is survived by, three daughters: Margaret Hasselbach of Middletown, Barbara (James) Crist of Monroe and Carol (Ed) Lyons of Middlefield, OH; two sons: Richard J. (Mary) Chupka of Middletown, OH, Andrew M. (Helen) Chupka of Edgewater, FL; one sister: Irene Turvey of Dunedin, FL; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2006 from 9-10 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Fenwich High School 4855 W. State Rt. 122, Franklin, OH 45005; Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown, OH 45044 or charity of donor’s choice.
