Anne L. Daly

Anne Louise (Guthman) Daly, 75, of Timberline Drive, Middletown, passed away Thursday, October 13 at Dayton Heart Hospital.

Born in Elyria, Ohio, Mrs. Daly moved to Middletown in 1946 and attended Middletown High School, graduating in 1948. Her spirit and enthusiasm as a cheerleader carried on throughout her life touching all who knew her.

Mrs. Daly will be sorrowfully missed and eternally remembered by her husband of 55 years, Donald and her seven children and 13 grandchildren: Jim (Charlotte) of Louisville, KY; John (Beth) and sons Sean and Kyle of Hunter OH; Joe (Debbie) and daughters Kelsey and Elena of Middletown; Kathy (Jim) Harris of Middletown and daughter Danielle of Cincinnati; Karen (Terry) Senesac and children Kara, Michelle, and Brian of Grove City, OH; Kristi (Bill) Cofield and children Scott, Lauren, and William of Jackson. MO; and Jeff (Cindy) and daughters Regan and Riley of Miamisburg, OH.

She also leaves behind her brother, Bob Guthman of Middletown and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Daly was preceded in death by her parents, Helen (Moon) and Walter Guthman, daughter-in-law Suzanne (Fraley) Daly and grandson Austin Joseph Daly, and sister-in-law Mary (Lee) Guthman.

She was a long-time member of Wildwood Golf Club, enjoying golf, bridge, and a host of life-time friends.

A member of Holy Family Parish, Mrs. Daly’s warm smile, generous spirit, and tender heart will be a cherished memory to all the lives she touched.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish-St. John’s Church Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be held at Sunday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.)
