April Joy Helton

April Joy Helton, 60, of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Atrium Medical Center.  She  was born in Batesville, IN on April 16, 1963 to Lundy Ray  and Janice Sue (Richmond) Helton, but was raised by Clarence E. and Janice Sue (Richmond) Taylor.

April was a graduate of Madison High School where she participated in Volleyball, Track and Field, Shotput, and the Women's Weightlifting Club.  She worked for various employers over the years in the healthcare field.  April was an animal lover and enjoyed arts and crafts.    

April will be greatly missed by her sister, Terina (Rob) King-Smeal; brothers, Christopher and William Michael Helton; half brother, Eugene Helton; fiancee, Hayden Rose; niece, Rebecca (Matthew Milazzo) Lundy; nephews, Michael and Matthew Helton;  great nieces, Gabriella and Anna; great nephew, Logan; and best friend, Rebecca (Rusty) Wilson.  She was preceded in death by  her parents; daughter, Autumn Taylor Rain Helton; and nephew Marcus Helton.

Visitation will be held Sunday January 28, 2024 from 2 - 4 PM at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, Ohio 45044, funeral services with Rev. James Anderson officiating will follow the visitation at 4 PM.
