Arthur J. “Bud” Ulrich, Jr, 79, of Middletown, died Thursday, February 9, 2006, at Willow Knoll Retirement Community. He was born in Middletown, on December 22, 1926 to Arthur J. and Selma Marie (Lockman) Ulrich Sr..
Mr. Ulrich owned and operated Converter Supply in Blue Ash, Ohio. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
Bud is survived by, his wife, E. June (Ihle) Ulrich; son, Jeffrey (Ronni) Ulrich of Leesburg, Va.; granddaughters Lexi & Carlie Ulrich of Leesburg, Va.; an uncle, Phil Lockman of Arcanum; and cousins, Mary Joe Miller of Hamilton, Pat Mahokey of Painesville, and Jean Hermann of Hartville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 13, 2006 at 1:30 PM at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark St., with Father John Civille and Father Bert Buby S.M. as celebrants. Visitation will be Monday, prior to Mass, from 11:00 - 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 218 Honor Guard.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be sent to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3229 Burnett Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095 – OR - Abilities First Foundation, Inc., 4710 Timber Trail Dr., Middletown, OH 45044.
