Aster "Ace" Feltner, 70, of Monroe, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born in Hyden, Kentucky on April 10, 1939 to parents Morris and Julie (Howard) Feltner.
Ace worked as a master assembler for Square D and also as a meat cutter at Meijer, retiring in 2000. He was an avid fan of the UK Wildcats and Dale Earnhardt and had a great love of music.
Mr. Feltner is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue (Lovill) Feltner; sons, Jeff (Jami) Feltner and Mike (Pam) Feltner; daughters, Tammy (David) Horton and Lisa (Wayne) Hawkins; brothers, Ray (Janet) Feltner and Earl (Becky) Feltner; special cousin, Teresa Baughman; six grandchildren, Tawny (Ryan) Mahon, Sarah Horton, Alex Horton, Lauren Hawkins, Alexandria Strickland and Jordan Feltner; one great grandchild on the way; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Bob Manley and Reverend Jim Kinser officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
