Barbara G. Townsend

Barbara G. Townsend, 78, of Middletown, died Monday, August 17, 2015, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown on July 18, 1937 to parents Hobart and Edna (Parlett) Bowman.

Mrs. Townsend is survived by her son, James Townsend; daughter, Melissa Townsend; and many other loving family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley "Buddy" Townsend; parents and siblings, Robert, William, Elizabeth, Wilbur, Barry, Bess, Beatrice & Keith.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
