Beatrice L. Peters

Beatrice L. "Granny Bea" Peters, 88, died peacefully Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at her home of 61 years surrounded by her family. She was born in McVeigh, Kentucky on April 7, 1923 to parents George and Louise Johnson.

Bea was a Middletown High School graduate, Class of 1942. She worked for City Building and Loan until her marriage to Joseph E. Peters on October 29, 1949. She was baptized into Christ at the age of 25 and was a member of Crosspointe Church of Christ.

Mrs. Peters is survived by her son, David (Cheryl) Peters; daughter, Beverly (Paul) Renwick; grandsons, Joey Peters and Branden "BJ" Renwick.; great grandson, Dylan Renwick and Jonas Huffman, whom she loved like a grandson; brothers, Kenneth (Amanda) Johnson, Everett (Mary) Johnson and Craig Johnson; nieces, Dr. Deborah Coyle and Kimberly Coyle and nephews, Gene Coyle and Jeff Coyle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; her parents; sister, Wanda Coyle; brother, Warren Johnson and nephew, Greg Coyle.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Woodside Cemetery.
