Beatrice Makin

Beatrice Truesdell Sebastian Makin, 89, died Saturday July 9, 2005 at home under the care of Hospice after battling Alzheimer’s.

Beatrice was born October 17, 1915 in Roan County, Kentucky to parents Jesse and Katherine (Adams) Truesdell.

She was a former member of Church at Mayfield and First Baptist Church of Franklin.

Beatrice is survived by two daughters Reva (Sidney) Franklin of Franklin Township, and Cathy (John) Aller of Kathy, Texas, a sister Betty Terry of Oregonia, Ohio, two grandchildren Melinda (John) Miller of Springboro, Terry (Sandy) Franklin of Franklin, two great-grandchildren Matt and Erika Franklin of Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Grover Sebastian in 1973 and George F. Makin in 2003, her parents, and sisters Fleeda Back, Maureen OBanion, Gladys Campbell, Thelma Brown, Julia Craft, and Artie Hampton, and brothers Roy, Clyde, Charles, and Gordon Truesdell.

Funeral services will be Wednesday July 13, 2005 at 11:30 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Dr. Mark Shimer officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service from 10:30-11:30AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Springboro 60 E. North St. Springboro, Ohio 45066.
