Benny John Harris

Benny John Harris, 54, of Carlisle, died Thursday, September 11, 2008, at Dayton V.A. Medical Center. He was born in Winchester, Kentucky on August 1, 1954 to parents William H. and Sarah E. (Gibbs) Harris.

Benny had worked for AK Steel for 13 years. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Linda L. (Hutson) Harris; sons, Benny John (Danielle) Harris Jr. and Bryan Keith Harris; daughter, Amber Leann Harris; brothers, Ray (Justine) Harris, Bill Harris, Corbett (Phyllis) Harris, Felix (Dorothy) Harris, Bob (Sue) Harris and George (Sharon) Harris; sisters, Lillie M. Banks, Nancy (Lee) Sandlin and Zelda (Mario) Frongia; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Vernon Harris and Don Harris.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 15, 2008 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Brother Hobert White officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
