Bernice Betteridge

Bernice Betteridge, 92, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant in Monroe, Ohio. She was born in Bergen, New York on May 6, 1931 to parents, Chris and Ada (Busmire) Dilcher, both of whom preceded her in death.

Bernice worked for Security Trust for 20 years, retiring as President of the bank. Bernice enjoyed staying active by playing golf, bowling, shag dancing and just being outdoors enjoying the sunshine. She also enjoyed playing cards and other games and attending various social activities.

Bernice is survived by her grandchildren, Gerald (Stacey) Betteridge, Lindsay (Michael Orton, Jr.) Betteridge & Logan Betteridge; great grandchildren, Elijah Betteridge, Harper Betteridge & Lilyah Betteridge; and former daughters-in-law, Priscilla Betteridge & Karen Rowe Marcocelli. 

In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Betteridge; son, Chris Betteridge; and sister, Margaret "Marge" Dilcher Hernandez.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
