Bertie (Puckett) Combs

Bertie (Puckett) Combs, 80, of Middletown, died Thursday, September 19, 2013, at home. She was born in Altro, Kentucky on November 26, 1932 to parents James B. and Mattie (Spicer) Deaton.

Mrs. Puckett is survived by her sons, Mallon E. Puckett, Chilion Raye (Theresa) Puckett & Tommy Lee (Ramona) Puckett; daughters, Ladema K. (Benny) Terrell, Valentina E. (Curt) Fields & Catrina L. (James) Tapp; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Puckett; parents; and one grandson.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to Hospice Care of Middletown.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Ed Clonninger officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
