Beth Ann Tucker, our beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister and Nana, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Miami Valley Hospital with her daughters by her side. Born on September 25, 1960, she resided in Middletown all of her life. She was 55.
After graduating from Middletown High School in 1978, Beth worked as a secretary for Oyer Realtors. This was followed by a 20 year career working in the Administrative Offices at Middletown Regional Hospital. A devoted mother and nana she extended that love and concern to animals. She had a special place in her heart for pets, especially Chihuahuas. We used to joke about her similarity to them, petite in stature but fierce. This quality allowed her to fight a chronic illness for many years. Despite her illness, it was not able to stop Beth from showing her family how much they were loved and meant to her. Beth was selfless and determined that everyone would have what they needed, even if it meant she had to do without. She looked forward to having her granddaughters over to play tea party and even made sure she had little goody bags for them when they arrived. A beautiful woman from the inside out, Beth loved to dress to the nines. Even a simple trip to the drive-thru would warrant hair, make-up and a red-carpet outfit. Let us begin to honor your memory by using the lessons you have taught us. Be brave, make your own contribution, take care of others, and love your family like there's no tomorrow.
Ms. Tucker is survived by and will be greatly missed by her loving daughters, Sarah (Chris) Heidtman & Emily (Kevin Crockett) Tucker; mother, Wilma (Hatton) Alexander; brothers, Tim (Kim) Alexander & Jeff (Lori) Alexander; Nana's precious grandchildren, Reese & Ruby Heidtman; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her 6 furry grand dogs.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allan Alexander; paternal grandparents, Malcolm & Martha Alexander; and maternal grandparents, George Hatton & Tina Bair.
