Betty Ann Back

Betty Ann Back, 87, died on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community. She was born in Excello, Ohio on September 6, 1925 to parents John and Edith (Ceeley) Trimble. Mrs. Back was a Secretary for the Water Refining Company, and member of Christ United Methodist Church. Betty was well known for making ceramic Easter Baskets for the children of Christ United Methodist Church. She was an award winning bowler and in 1961 bowled a 643, the highest series game in 31 years and in 1961 was inducted into the Middletown Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Mrs. Back is survived by a daughter; Karen (Bill) Hansford, a son: William ( Susan) Back; two grandchildren Nicole Daddario & Garrett Back; a great grand-son John Daddario; two brothers Robert( Callie) Trimble and John ( Laverne) Trimble; numerous nieces & nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Harold L. Back in 2007, her parents, brothers: William, Jack and Melvin Trimble and a sister Rosemary Griffin. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. Visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Chaplain Tim Woodard officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice 8069 Washington Village Dr., Dayton, OH 45458.
