Betty J. Burgher, 72, of Trenton, died Sunday, September 15, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Bear Spring, Tennessee on March 30, 1930 to parents Frank and Nanny (Pully) Williams.

Betty graduated from Middletown High School in 1947. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Presbyterian Church for many years, where she served as church secretary. She was a member of the happy fifth mother's club.

She is survived by her husband Shirley Burgher of Trenton; her mother, Nanny Williams of Indiana; one son David (Audrey) Burgher of Jackson, MI; one daughter Ellen (Jim) Miller of Trenton; one brother Brandy Williams of Decatur, IL; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and three grandchildren Brad Miller, David Burgher II, and Elizabeth Burgher.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olivet United Presbyterian Church, 509 West State Street, Trenton, OH, with Rev. William Philips officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita, Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Olivet United Presbyterian Church, 509 West State Street, Trenton, OH 45067.
