Betty J. Werner

Mrs. Betty J. Werner, 74, died Wednesday, at Middletown Regional Hospital.
Betty received an associate degree from Miami University Middletown in 1977. She retired from Armco Steel as an investment specialist in 1985. She was a member of Breiel Boulevard First Church of God.
Mrs. Werner leaves her husband of 47 years, Norbert E. Werner; a stepdaughter Barbara (Anthony) Calabrese of Maitland, Florida; three grandchildren, Wayne Kash, Lori Ann Kash, & Debbie Risner of Rogersville, Tennessee; three step grandchildren, Mark (Donna) Takach of Winter Springs, Florida, Christopher (Kim) Takach of Orlando, Florida, and Marybeth (Jim) Wydock of Snellville, Georgia; and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother Matilda Halsey Downing.
She was preceded in death by her son Barry W. Kash- May 17, 2002 and her father Asa O. Downing.
Pastor David Colp and Chaplain Jackie Ward will officiate the funeral service.
