Betty Jean Jackson, 66, of Franklin, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Menifee County, Kentucky on August 6, 1941 to parents Ray and Reva (Patrick) Keith.
Betty Jean had worked as a quality control inspector for Jefferson Smurfit, retiring in 2003 after 35 years of service. She was an active member of Crestview Church of God in Germantown.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband of 29 years, Lowell "Tom" Jackson; a daughter, Lois (James) Lawson; two step sons, Dale Jackson and Doug (Lana) Jackson; her mother, Reva Keith; two sisters, Shirley (John) Knott and Verla Peck; a brother, Roger (Jacqueline) Keith; and two grandchildren, Trevor Hughes and Kathryn Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Keith; and son, Timothy Bair.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Mary Ellen Gaeke and the nurses and staff at Kettering Hospital Oncology.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Daniel Hess officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420-1885.
