Betty Jo Hounshell Williams

Betty Jo Hounshell Williams, 81, of Middletown, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Wise, Virginia on June 28, 1930 to parents Montgomery and Rosa Bryant. She was a loving and devoted mother to her family. Betty loved county cooking. She worked in the deli at McGee's Supermarket, retiring after 25 years of service. Mrs. Williams is survived by her sons, Ed (Donna) Hounshell, Ritchie G. Hounshell; sister, Mildred Young and grandchildren, Karen Napier and Sarah Freeman; great grandchildren, Alyssa Napier, Devin and Aubrey Freeman. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Glen Hounshell; second husband, Ray Williams; and her brother, Bernard Bryant.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
