Betty L. Takach

Betty L. Takach, 80, of Liberty Township, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Monroe on February 26, 1931 to parents Clarence and Vida (McClung) Wilkinson.

Betty worked at the Monroe IGA for 17 years and retired as produce manager.

Mrs. Takach is survived by her husband, Frank Takach; sons, Tony Takach & Rob (Teri) Takach; daughter, Susan Takach; brother, Robert (Roberta) Wilkinson; sister, Margaret Chapman; darling grandmother to 11 grandchildren, Tony, Deann, Marynda, Nicholas, Cameron, Kaitie Takach, Nikki, Rob, Desiree Schlotman, Bobbie Lynn Reece & Shane Malarkey; and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Tom Takach in 1997; her parents; brother, Charles "Bud" Wilkinson; sisters, Reva McClelland, Martha Laird, Mary Shyers & Dorothy Cottle; and grandson, Robbie Michael Takach in 2009.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
