Betty Opal Trent, 76, of Monroe, died on June 17, 2003, at Kensington Place. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on September 20, 1926 to parents Adrion and Edna (Fields) Osborne.
Mrs. Trent was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Cross Pointe Church of God.
Betty is survived by her husband, Robert G. Trent of Monroe; one daughter, Kathy Trent of Centerville; two sons, Kenny (Barbara) Trent of Carlisle, and Dave Trent of Middletown; three sisters, Dorothy Proffitt, Carma Spicer, and Barbara (Paul) Mullendore and three brothers, Monroe Osborne, Arnold (Shirley) Osborne, and Lawrence (Pat) Osborne all of Middletown; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mitchell Osborne; and a sister, Corrine Hollon.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 20, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Rev. Jeff Kilburn officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
