Betty J. Sweet

Betty J. Sweet, 91, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born in Middletown on April 3, 1932 to parents, Charles Clay and Pearl Esther (Stamper) Richardson.

Betty enjoyed being outdoors, whether going to garage sales, taking walks or fishing. She loved eating dinner at Bob Evans every evening and had many friends there.

Most of all Betty loved her family and will be greatly missed by her husband, Robert K. Sweet; daughter, Cynthia J. (Paul F.) Arvidson; sisters, Barbara A. Campbell & Joyce F. Townsend; ten grandchildren, Chris R. (Lindsey) Wells, Youtonnia J. McDonald, Matthew P. (Jenna M.) Arvidson, Allan B. Brewster, Andrew C. Brewster, Jessica C. Lairson, Lindsay L. Wells, Stacey R. Lairson, Clarence E. Lairson, Jr. & Robert (Tracey) Oney; many great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. 

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Pam L. Wells & Robin R. Lairson; sons, Allan B. Springfield, Anthony W. Neace & Wyatt T. Neace; her parents; and brothers, Charles L. Richardson & William C. Richardson. 

Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodhill Cemetery, 6228 Hamilton-Middletown Rd., Franklin, OH with her grandson, Chris Wells officiating.
