Beverly A. Howard

Beverly A. Howard, 65, of Gratis Township, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Kettering Medical Center. She was born in Akron, on July 4, 1942 to parents Raymond and Anna (Cobb) Carberry Sr.

Beverly was the owner of the Beauty Nook Hair Salon until retiring in 2005. Before that, she worked at Duff's Cafe. She was a member of Christian Enterprise Church.

Mrs. Howard is survived by her husband, Dorse G. Howard; a daughter, Tammy (Brian) Wise; two sons, Scott (Jill) Sipple and Lee (Wendy) Sipple; two stepdaughters, Robin (Steve) Patrick and Melinda Coffman; her mother, Anna Carberry; three sisters, Janell (Barry) Rasgon, Rosemary (Richard) Gallop, and Joyce Valentine; three brothers, Tim (Joyce) Carberry, Ray (Marsha) Carberry, and David (Joadie) Carberry; four grandchildren, Brian Wise, Corey Sipple, Seth Sipple, and Tristan Sipple; three step grandchildren, Amber Coffman, Corrie Patrick, and Dylan Patrick; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Carberry Sr.; nephew, Aaron Mulligan; and great nephew, Jonathan Alice.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 12:00 NOON at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend James Anderson and Pastor Chad Slifer officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 NOON. Interment will be at Fairmound Cemetery.
