Bill Wood, 63, of Middletown, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Abilene, Texas on July 22, 1942 to parents David and Mary (Crabill) Wood.
Bill worked as a mechanical engineer and was currently the vice-president of HAWA Inc. He was an avid card player, especially Black Jack and Texas Hold ´Em. He enjoyed classical music, reading books, and was a movie fan.
Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Nancy (Miller) Wood; four daughters, Lisa Wood of Columbus, Janet (Billy) Flick of Lebanon, Michelle (Tom) Davis of Columbus, and Cathy (Jim) Mace of Loveland; four sons, Bill (April) Wood of Monroe Township, NJ, Jonathan (Christine) Wood of Black Lick, Jimmy (Melva) Toll of Thornville, and Patrick (Pamela) Toll of Plain City; sister, Ellyn Wood of Dayton; brother, Phillip (Lilly) Wood of GA; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 12:00 NOON at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Pastor Phil Conrad officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2006 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
