Blondina E. Long

Blondina Ellison Long, 92, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown March 4, 1921 to Samuel and Beatrice (Payne) Ellison.

She is survived by her son, David E. Long of North Carolina, and daughter, Suellen (Robert) Gallamore of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, grandsons Scott H. Vincent and Gregory P. Vincent, two step-grandsons, great-grandsons Nicholas, Harrison and William Vincent, and ten step great-grandchildren.

Blondina was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Paul R. Long, II, and their infant son, Paul R. Long, III. She was also predeceased by her parents, Sam and Beadie, as well as her four brothers (Glenn "Tiger," Tilmon, Bill and Jake) and two sisters (Joyce and Juanita).

A service of remembrance will be held April 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Mary H. Kittredge Memorial Chapel at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to the Mt. Pleasant Lifecare Fund, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe, Ohio 45050.
