Bob L. Poplin Sr.

Bob L. "Robert" Poplin, Sr., 88, of Trenton, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at home. He was born in Middletown on October 31, 1929 to parents Bruce and Minnie (Pallmann) Poplin. Bob was an excellent carpenter and worked as a general contractor in the Tri-State area for over 40 years.

Mr. Poplin is survived by his wife, Ellen (Manns) Poplin; five children, Sherrie Taylor, Bob Poplin Jr., Gene Poplin, Daryl (Connie) Poplin & Kim (Bob Auffert) Poplin; sister, Mildred Bare; eight grandchildren, Dannie, Stacie, Crystal, Sean, Olivia, Victoria, Sophia & Bruce; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Robert W. Poplin; parents; five brothers; and two sisters.

The family wishes to thank Hospice Care of Middletown for their wonderful care.

Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr, Middletown with Reverend Crystal Stader officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
