Bud Lykins

Millard "Bud" Lykins age 74 of Middletown died on Sunday July 18, 2010 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on June 23, 1936 to parents Rector and Bethel ( Highly) Lykins. Bud worked out of the Union Hall Local #534, he retired in 1995.

He loved hunting in Wyoming and fishing in Lake Erie, in his younger years he played baseball.

He is survived by his wife Mae (Combs) Lykins, three daughters; Kathy ( Jerry) Pence, Cindy Vincion, Shellee (Scott) Nance; one brother Donnie (Velma) Lykins; four grandchildren: Amy, Brandy, Jessica and Caden; and two great grandsons Chance & Matthew.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Winston & Timmy Lykins and two sisters Jeanie Knapp and Dixie Lee Buchanan.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., at Bonita Dr. with Rev. Virgil Applegate officiating. Visitation Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment at Woodside Cemetery.
