Calvin C. Reynolds, 84, of Carlisle, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Sycamore Hospital. He was born in Hamlin, West Virginia on May 19, 1927 to parents Hallie and Minnie (McClanahan) Reynolds.
Calvin worked as a crane operator for AK Steel, retiring in 1990 after 33 years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, was a member of Jefferson Lodge #90 F. & A.M., Valley of Dayton Scottish Rite, Antioch Shrine, Dial Radio Club call sign WB8MYT, was a Kentucky Colonel and former Warren County Special Deputy.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Willowdean (Cottongim) Reynolds; son, Kevin K. Reynolds; daughter, Jody L. (Mike) Butcher; and grandchildren, Lillian Butcher & Eli Butcher.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Glenneth Smith.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Mark Hampton and Pastor James House officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 12:00 pm with Masonic Services conducted by Jefferson Lodge #90 at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Miltonville Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
