Carmin James Ferrara, 81, died Friday, at Convalarium at Indian Run in Dublin, Ohio. He was regional sales manager for Stowe-Woodward Company for 32 years, retiring in 1985. Mr. Ferrara served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corps during World War II. He was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church, a life member of TAPPI (Technical Association of Pulp Paper Industry), former officer of PIMA (Paper Industry Managment Association), member of the Middletown Ostomy Association, Forest Hills Country Club since 1957, longtime member of the International Arabian Horse Association, and member of American Legion Post 218.
Carmin was preceded in death by his wife Lillian M. Ferrara in February 1992; and his parents, Vincenzo and Antonina (Aquaviva) Ferrara. He is survived by his sons James (Jeong) Ferrara, John (Elizabeth) Ferrara, and Jeffrey P. Ferrara; daughter Janice (Lawerence) Robb; sister Mary Bianchi; and 7 grandchildren.
Monsignor Paul Metzger will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Fenwick High School Building Fund, 3800 Manchester Rd, Middletown, Ohio 45042
