Caroline R. Petrocy

Caroline R. Petrocy, 86 of Middletown died on Saturday morning December 20, 2003 at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born on September 29, 1917 in Middletown to Albert and Irene (Henderson) Ritter.

Mrs. Petrocy had been employed by Stubbs, Stubbs & Buchert Attorneys as a legal secretary; she had also worked for Southwestern Ohio Education Research Council. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed music. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

She is survived by a son John (Donna) Petrocy, Centerville, a daughter Carolyn “Cam” (Larry) Hammond, Middletown, two sisters Jean Allen, Dayton, and Jane Lawson Bradenton, Fl., a brother Donald Ritter, three grandchildren; Joseph W. (Dr. Pam) Petrocy, Benjamin J. Hammond and Laura E. Hammond.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Petrocy in 1989, and a sister Joan Ritter.

Funeral services Tuesday at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., at Bonita Dr., Fr. Terry Meehan officiating. Visitation Monday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Interment at Mound Cemetery, Monroe.
